Hey everyone, what a great week!
We were able to teach a lady named Marilina and another one named Marcela. Marilina just had a baby and she is super sweet and she just wants to learn what is the truth. She is super sweet. So we had a great lesson with her where she told us she believes in God but all the churches confuse her. So we testified about how we can pray to God and He will help us to know which church is the true church. With Marcela we went and read the Book of Mormon with her. She is great and on Friday my companion and another Hermana had a lesson with her and she said that she wanted to come to church and be baptized and that she knows it is true and my companion told me it was a very spiritual lesson.
On Wednesday we woke up early to go to Piribebuy. The Hermana's there are struggling a bit because on of the Hermanas is a bit of a rough companion and she kinda doesn't care anymore because she is going home. So we decided to have surprise intercambios with them. The one Hermana does not like me and she was not happy that we were on her front door step but we had a good day, yes I was with her. We were able to find new people and all in all it was good. We all slept in Piribebuy and a long time ago we did that where all 4 Hermana's stayed and slept on air mattress and it was rough. I did not sleep at all on Wednesday.
Thursday we left to go back to Oviedo and we planned and studied a bit and then we went to work. We found a lady super sweet. She just got married a few years ago. She has 21 years. She is working in Oviedo. Her name is Lorena and she is great. We had lessons set up to teach Marcela, Marilina, and Sani and with every single one something happened where they weren't there. Marilina had to go to the super and forgot we were coming and drove off literally while we were walking to her house. Marcela was not home due to a school project for her son. And Sani her daughter fell and hit her head like 10 minutes before we showed and went to the hospital. So that was kinda sad. But everyone is doing good now.
Friday was the best! We had intercambios with Campo 9 and I was there with Hermana Jardine. So Hermana Jardine and I are super awesome friends. I literally love her with all my heart. We never were companions but we always wanted to be. Fun story though we have never actually sat down and met each other. I met her 3 times before and we had never really talked but we just clicked instantly and always wanted to be companions. So Friday was super fun because we had the chance to finally be companions! It was so much fun. We worked super hard and we were able to find a lot of new people and have spiritual lessons with the people they already have.
We went to buy aái which is a like fruit but they make like ice cream out of it and we bought the biggest one. We ate it super fast and then wanted another one so we bought another one and again we bought the 20 mil. I don't know why we didn't buy a smaller one. But on our way to the next lesson we were eating it and Hermana Jardine felt sick after. I felt fat but happy jaja. It was a lot of fun. Hermana Jardine goes home this cambio so I helped her pack and then we stayed up till 5 in the morning almost talking. It was super bad. I regretted it the rest of the week let me tell ya! I'm still regretting it jaja. But it was so awesome to finally be with Hermana Jardine. I love her so much. But Saturday morning we returned from intercambios and it was a hot day. We worked hard and it was great. We are really seeing a lot of progress in our people we are teaching.
I love the mission!!!
Anyways fam. I love you all. I am so grateful to be serving the Lord. I know this is true. This week I encourage everyone to, everyday, write in their journals how they saw the Lords hands in the day. I know everyday the Lord blesses us with little miracles. Sometimes we just don't realize them. When we look for them we will be more open to seeing them in the moment and life will be better when we are able to recognize truly how blessed we are. I love you all!!!
