10/28/18 - Another week of Serving and Loving!

Okay fam bam what happened this week!
First off on Monday I met the profeta so that was awesome. I told you about that last week but I just want to testify again that I know how he is called of God and they he receives revelations on how to help us in a world of much confusion.

On Tuesday we had P-day and it was super great because I made sure I took a nap that day. I got to sleep for a few hours and it definitely helped a ton. We visited families and people that we had. One lady in particular is named Evelyn and we haven't been able to find her since Agosto. She is super great and has a lot of great questions but she is never home. So I felt the need to go visit her and we were super far away but we decided to do it. We went and she was home and we had a great lesson where we were able to teach her about the Plan of Salvation. Her parents have passed away and so she felt a lot better after teaching but then she had really great questions about baptism and the authority of God and it was super awesome.

On Wednesday we went to Caaguazu to have intercambios with Hermana Flores and Viveros.
I was in Caaguazu and it was super great. We were able to work hard even though there was a rain and we were able to find good people. The whole day I could feel the spirit really strong in all of our lessons and it was super fun to be able to be with Hermana Flores. She is super cute and from Spain and so it was a lot of fun to be with her.

On Thursday we traveled home and we were able to work for a little bit. We had classes of Ingles and it was super great. We also got to visit this little family. So backstory the dad, Jos, we were walking down the street and he said Adios Hermanas so I stopped in my tracks and asked him how he knew the Hermana's. We started talking and then they told us they would come to church. So we went and visited his family and met his wife and his son. So we started teaching them and the wife is very catholic but she wants to know the truth. She is super sweet too. They are a very humble family.

On Friday we had intercambios with Piribebuy. I stayed in Oviedo with Hermana Facer. She and her companion are having some problems. Her companion is about to go home and so she doesn't really care. She thinks she is way to good for the rules and it is really hard to try and help her because she is very prideful and so she thinks that she doesn't need us and that we are not her leaders. So its been kind of a struggle to be able to help her but we are trying.
But here in Oviedo with Hermana Facer we were able to find a lot of great people. We only had about 3 hours to work after traveling but it was super great. Honestly poor Hermana Facer has had some rough cambios with companions but she is such a trooper. She is trying to do what God wants her to and she is so cute. I just love her soo much.

On Saturday we finally had more than 5 hours to work in our area. So we didn't have anyone in plans literally a day clean and blank and ready to work. So we started to plan and we planned on finding new people. We planned on contacting houses and exploring our area. It was really good. We contacted and talked to everyone. We found a family and we found, oh we found this one lady super awesome. Her name is Sani and she is so cute. She has 25 years and she has 2 little girls. She was like I am not gonna lie, tomorrow I wont go to your church because I have plans but next Sunday si o si. We asked her if we gave her a Book of Mormon would she read it and she said EVERYNIGHT! I love her so much. She was paying so much attention in our lesson and she is so cute.
Highlight of Saturday was meeting her. And how we met her was by the spirit. We were walking to have a lesson and we walked past a house I had contacted a bunch and this old couple lived there. When we walked passed my companion felt a strong need to contact the house. I never say no to contacting a house again unless they are super mean or bad to the missionaries and I as well felt a really strong need to contact the house. So we did and it was so great.

That brings us to Sunday. Sunday was super great. We went to church and we got to have a Family Home Evening with Flia Recalde. It was super good and then we played El Gato y El Raton. It was super fun. It got crazy jaja. But other than that nothing to really report.

This week I really saw how the Lord is in the little details of our lives. God knows exactly what we are going through and how to help us. The biggest thing to remember is that we need to have patience. God has a perfect plan but if we don't trust in Him and exercise our faith then we will be able to lograr milagros in our lives. I hope everyone had an amazing week and I hope this week is even better. I love you all!
