How is everyone doing. This week was another great one. We have some really amazing people that we have been working with.
intercambios again. By far my favorite intercambio because I got to stay in Paraguari with Hermana Robinson. It was so weird to be with her again. To walk the streets and to contact and teach lessons. I felt like I never left my training but I could speak Spanish and had experience of how to teach and listen to the spirit more. Also I haven't spoken English in a long time and you better believe we spoke English all night to tell each other stories and to fill each other in on our lives. It has only been one cambio but there was so much to talk about. Oh it was so much fun to be her companion again for the day. It was also super funny because we were in a lesson and they started talking to us and she turned to me and started translating like she had to do in my training and I was like Hermana I can understand them. I started responding to their questions and Hermana Robinson was so impressed because she forgot I was out of training too. It was so funny. Oh I just love her so much.
Wednesday we had interviews with Presidente Wilson. But we had them in the house. I cooked some desserts for them. It was a lot of fun. We got to talk about the importance of the Book of Mormon in conversion and it is so true. It is so so so important. I invite all of you to read the Book of Mormon every day. You can start now. There is no better time than the present. It was super good to talk to Presedente. He is so great.
On Friday we finished all of the lessons for Nelson and he is totally ready to be baptized. We are having his baptism this Friday!!! It is so exciting. We also taught Isabel again and her uncle was there. He is part of a different religion and I don't remember what religion but he is a fanatic. We walked into the door and sat down and before we did anything else he went on a very very long rant about how Jesus is God in the flesh and how we need to be baptized in the name of the father the son and the holy spirit who is one being. We read some scriptures in the Bible about how God and Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are one in purpose but different beings. He told us we were teaching false doctrine and that we need to teach the Bible. I am pretty sure he thought we were teaching out of the Book of Mormon. We showed him we were teaching the Bible. He then went on a rant about how as women we shouldn't be wearing pants to preach the Word of God because thats what men do. And also how our hair can't be short and then he got really mad at us for wearing our sombreros to teach the word. Hermana Carhuancho was ready to fight him. She was getting really mad and I think he could tell so it made him happy. I tried to testify about what I knew to be true and that he is a son of God. He continued to tell me we are all God and that we need to stay away from false prophets. I was sad because this guy could really use the gospel in his life. But he was very stuck in his ways.
Saturday was a good day. It looked like it was going to rain so I left in my rain boots and my rain jacket and my umbrella all ready for a storm. Well we got to Barrio San Francisco and the sun came out and it was easily 90 degrees and humid so guess who was dying! But it was all worth it when only like 5 hours later it started to pour!! But we had a lesson with Familia Gimenez. The mom and daughter have a date to be baptized and right now we are teaching them and preparing them for this date. We taught about how we need to go to church on Sundays to partake of the sacrament. We talked about the importance of the church and she told us that she was coming to church this Sunday. We asked her if she wanted us to pass by and pick her up but she told us her dad is a moto taxista and he was gonna take her to church and that she already talked to him. Then when she gave the prayer she asked Heavenly Father to help her be able to go to church Sunday and that si o si she would be able to attend church. It made me so happy to hear that she really had this desire to come to church. She didn't come Sunday because all the rain made her really sick but she wants to come next week. Also we finally found Gladis again. It has been forever since we have taught her and we pass by almost every day. We are kinda clingy jaja. No but she was so happy we were there. We taught her about Law of Chastity and Word of Wisdom. She is so amazing. Teaching her is so much fun because we laugh and joke around but it is also super spiritual. She is so great. 
Sunday was fast and testimony meeting. It was raining still so not a lot of people came to church but the testimonios were super great. We also had a lot of investigators come this week. Well 4 but in the compana that is a lot. So we are gonna have a baptism this week si o si. Nelson is super great. And the elders are working with a girl named Marli and she is capa ite. She came yesterday and told us that for a long time she has been looking for the true church and that when she walked into the capilla she finally found it. I may or may not have literally jumped for joy. But she is super sweet and great too. Wow there are just so many great people here in Paraguari. But we are gonna see because next Monday we have cambios and we will see if I am staying here or peaceing out to a different area. No matter what happens I know it is because God has a plan that is perfect for each and everyone of us. Even if we don't know what that plan is His plan is perfect. I love you all so much and God loves you all so much. Till next week here in la gran mission Paraguay Asuncion
