Well this week was different than the other ones I have had. Lets start with Monday. First we had our actividad de distrito. We rented out this tennis and volleyball court and were playing both. We split up into 2 teams Lamanitas and Nefitas. All the Latinos were Lamanitas and the greengos Nefitas. I originally was Nefita but switched because they needed another Latino and I was the darkest one jaja.
But the work must go on so on Tuesday I went to Caaguazu for intercambios. I was there with Hermana Alvarado and still was not feeling well and it poured super hard. So we got soaked. However we were able to find people and have a good day. We traveled back to Oviedo Wednesday morning, also pouring rain.
Wednesday was my 1 year in Paraguay!! Yeah I have been in this beautiful country for a year! But it was a rough day. We had scheduled lessons very far away and had put more on our plate than we could handle. We were super far in our area and had to rush back for classes de piano e ingles. So we were kinda running but really walking super fast down la ruta and all these cars were honking at us and there was all these bright lights and I was super stressed and I felt like my head was going to explode. We tried to stop a colectivo to take it but no one would stop for us. So we ran to the church and got there late. But we made it.
So as Hermana Gomez taught piano I accidently fell asleep in my chair and she woke me us and I didn't know was century I was in. My eyes were super red and I felt super super sick. So we left to keep working but I felt like I was going to throw up or pass out or both. We decided to take our dinner and we went home and I laid down and passed out.
On Friday Hermana Hansen told us to go to this doctor here that is suppose to be super good. We went and it was a 5 hour wait. So we decided to go home and I was just gonna sleep it off. Well I slept all of Friday and we weren't able to leave the house. House arrest once again jaja. But Saturday we left to get back to work and it was super hot. All the people we planned for were not home. So we ended up walking a ton. We tried contacting houses and no one wanted to listen to us. So it was a bit rough but it was good because we also had our entrevistas with Presidente Hansen. It was so much fun to see him and Hermana Hansen again. We were the last ones to have our interviews so that was good to be able to talk and not have a time limit.
Sunday, first off shout out to my big brother Dakota for having his birthday!!!! But Sunday we were able to go to church. In the morning it was raining super super hard. There was thunder and lightening and it was super bad weather. But it was you know typical Paraguay weather because at the end of church it was not kidding 100 degrees and super sunny. We were working good but the heat was killing me. But igual we were able to find lots of people. We found this one family who the daughter was literally about to pop for being so pregnant. They were super nice and wanted to learn more. And they wanted to have a Book of Mormon and it was super fun.
So this week was definitely not what I was expecting. But still it was a good week. We were able to work, maybe not a ton, but still able to work and it was good. And this coming week is General Conference!!! Yeah that's so awesome I love conference!!!
I encourage all of you to plan now to watch ALL 4 SESSIONS! This is a chance we have only 2 times a year. We get to hear the words of our beloved profeta and his 12 apostles. We get to receive revelation directly from God through his called servant. And as it says in the scriptures Whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same.I challenge each and everyone of you to prepare questions that you have had or doubts or guidance you want. Write it down on a piece
of paper and go into watching conference with this in mind. I know that God will personally help you and answer your questions and give you the guidance that you need with whatever you need in your life through the living day profetas. I love you all. Till next time!!

To Heaven and Back!Hermana Davis
Hi Brother Davis! We are excited that you are coming to Paraguay. Sounds like Hermana Davis had a rough week! We heard from the Robinsons that they had good success staying in places they found on airbnb.com. There are also hotels in Asuncion where you could stay. There is a small motel in Oviedo right by the sisters' apartment that we have heard is good, if you are planning to spend any time there. I can't remember the name of it but Hermana Davis will know. You can rent cars in Asuncion through National or Alamo (or other small local businesses). You can take a taxi from the airport or you could get your rental car there when you arrive. Your daughter will probably be getting to the mission office late Tuesday afternoon. The president usually invites any family to come to the testimony meeting and final dinner on Tuesday evening.
